Task A:

VIDEO 2- COLLABORATORS

(introduced on Feb. 16, Due Feb 23rd)

Objective:

Create 1 minute video identifying a type of collaborator

Process:

Your video should SHOW not TELL the audience about a type of collaborator. The video can use primary source or secondary source footage or images. The video can also use explanation text or a narrative voice over to help introduce, explain and summarize your findings.

The video should address these questions: who is the collaborator?, how do they collaborate? On what do they collaborate? When? What is unique about their collaboration technique? What traits, characteristics, skills or knowledge do they have that make them more/less successful as a collaborator? How do they relate to their fellow collaborators? What is the end result of their collaboration? Who does it benefit?

Delivery:

The video must be 60 seconds long (+- 10 seconds). NOTE: This means if your video is 30 seconds long or 4 minutes long, you have not successfully completed the assignment. Part of this project is understanding how to edit and focus your information into the assigned time frame.

In the next class (feb. 23rd) we will watch a selection of videos (approx. 15) from the total class and discuss your findings and thoughts on ‘collaborators’. Our class will meet in he Bark Room – 2 West 13th Street Lobby.

Name your video file as follows: LAST NAME-FIST NAME_Challenge_2

VIDEO MUST BE POSTED TO OUR VIMEO CHANNEL BY 5PM WEDNESDAY. Feb 23rd.
